Invitation to Danish and Nordic Photo Contest for Seafarers 2012
Don't forget the Nordic Photo Contest for Seafarers 2012, including a Danish part contest!
All Nordic seafarers and, regardless of nationality, all other crew members of Danish, Icelandic, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish flag vessels are welcome to take part in the contest.
The competition entries may be digital files. The photos must have been shot recently, not years ago.
The motif or contents of a picture is considered as important as the technical quality.
Pictures that have already been published are excluded from the contest.
Enclose a note with a few words about each motif (e.g. where and approximately when it was shot).
At the latest by December 31st, the competition entries must have arrived at the national organizer,
which is the Danish Government Seamen's Service.
All participants will receive a Photo-contest t-shirt wih our logo. So when yor email your photos to the contest please inform about your homeadress and t-shirt-size simultaneously.
The motives automatically take part in a national contest, as far as Denmark is concerned rewarded with a value of dkr. 1.500, 1.000 500, 500 and 500 respectively. The Nordic Contest will be concluded in February 2013.
The organizers reserve themselves the right to supply copies to related media covering the contest result, moreover to use contest pictures for exhibitions and other publication in order to promote the photo contest.

1. Photo equipment to the value of 5.000 Danish krona, sponsored by Walport Scandinavia, Copenhagen
2. Photo equipment to the value of 5.000 Norwegian krona, sponsored by the Norwegian Maritime Directorate
3. Photo equipment to the value of 5.000 Swedish krona, sponsored by the Swedish Shipping Gazette
4. The fourth price is sponsored by Iceland to the value of 350€
5. Photo eqipment to the value of 300 €, sponsored by Finnlines Abp
